CANNEFF SUP rectal suppositories with cannabidiol (CBD) and hyaluronic acid

CANNEFF SUP CBD suppositories are used as a supportive treatment in the healing of conditions in the anal canal following colorectal surgery, internal and external haemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, anal rhagades, fissures and anal fistulas.

Instructions for use

Separate a suppository from the strip at the point where it is perforated. Tear open the packaging by pulling it apart slightly and remove the suppository. Insert the suppository, narrow end first, into the rectum. It is recommended that you wash your hands before and after insertion for reasons of hygiene. The effect occurs within 60 minutes after application.

WARNUNG Keep away from children. Do not take the suppositories by mouth. Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging is opened or damaged.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a medicinal substance isolated from the hemp plant that has no psychotropic properties. Due to the antioxidant properties of CBD, it helps to scavenge reactive oxygen species and generally contributes to the maintenance of redox homeostasis, which is directly related to the modulation of inflammatory processes and a cell-protective effect. In combination with sodium hyaluronate, it enhances the properties of hyaluronic acid, the maintenance of mucosal moisture and thus the healing and pain relief of injuries or inflammation in the rectal area.

Areas of application

To alleviate the symptoms of non-specific intestinal inflammation.
For the concomitant treatment of internal and external haemorrhoids.
To relieve pain, itching and discomfort caused by haemorrhoids
To alleviate symptoms of cryptitis.
To support the healing process of smaller or deeper fissures and lesions.
To support the healing process of ulcers in the rectal area.

Dosage and duration of use

Take one suppository per day, preferably in the evening or as directed by your doctor. The duration of use depends on the development of the condition being treated and should not exceed 30 days.

Indication	Dosage
For the supportive treatment of internal and external haemorrhoids:	1 suppository daily at bedtime for 5 - 15 days until the symptoms disappear
To support the healing of fissures and fistulas in the rectal area; after colorectal surgery:	1 suppository per day before going to bed for 20 - 30 days.
For the relief of non-specific inflammations such as proctitis, cryptitis, etc:	1 suppository daily at bedtime for 25 - 30 days.

CANNEFF SUP are produced on the basis of a patented emulsion matrix. This means that the hyaluronic acid is already dissolved in water and is present in the same form as it is produced in the body.
